Palawan is home to rich natural resources and marine life species. With its preserved beauty, there is no doubt that this island is called “The Last Frontier”. It continuously receives recognition from different travel sites and uncontrollably attract more and more tourists every year. This place will surely be remembered for life!
Since I’m with my family this time, I think that it’s more practical to find an arrange tour or purchase everything online. Download apps like Travelbook and Agoda when finding that perfect accommodation that suits your needs. App such as KLOOK will also be helpful when looking for available tours within the area.
If you’re planning to visit Puerto Princesa, I highly recommend the ff. tourist spots!
Puerto Princesa Underground River
After being named as one of the Seven Wonders of Nature, this then became a must visit tourist spot in Puerto Princesa. There are times that the management cancels the tour because of the unforeseen weather condition, luckily, we were able to proceed with the program despite of periodic rainfall at that time. An entire day is needed for this arrange tour because of its remoteness from the city center plus a boat ride after reaching the dock. For years or century of a healthy biodiversity, this underground river was able to develop different rock formations, shining stalactites and stalagmites on its own.
!!! Be a responsible tourist, stalactites and stalagmites should NOT be touched as our skin oils can alter the growth formation and even its colors permanently.
